i started leio designs in the spring of 2007. originally i called my business fashionable fibers and focused mostly on sewing funky accessories from vintage fabrics and sold them mainly at craft fairs. in the fall of 2007 i turned my profits into a more substantial business so that i could continue to be a stay at home mom.

i purchased some printing equipment and started making tshirts. my first collection featured vintage looking anatomical prints and horse skeletons, and was greeted with success, encouraging me to keep trying new things.

i call my second collection 'painted'. this spring/summer collection of t's features bold splashes of color with striking silhouettes. i use a heat transfer process on my t's because the full range of color is truly unique, and has an incredibly soft texture, and combined with super-soft t's giving them a slightly vintage look and feel.
